Now that you've found this page, you have your fingers on the pulse of the "happenings" at St. Luke's! Due to COVID-19, we are continuing to adapt our worship and connecting activities to meet the needs of our congregation. All congregants MUST wear a mask covering their nose and mouth during worship, use hand sanitizer as they enter the Narthex, sit in designated locations that have 6' spacing, and read or hum the worship hymns. Communion will be served on the 1st Sunday of every month. As always, we will continue the livestream of our 10 a.m. worship service online each Sunday through our church Facebook page and post it afterwards on YouTube.
In April, we will kick off the month with our evening Maundy Thursday Tenebrae Worship service with Communion on Thursday, April 1st at 6:30 p.m. We will celebrate Easter Sunday on April 4th with our 10:00 a.m. worship service, lots of special music, Communion, an Easter Egg Hunt at 11:15 a.m., and the wedding of Luis Rosa and Dawn Eaton at 12 noon. Our Men's 12 p.m. Thursday Bible Study will be learning about the life and ministry of David, the Youth Group will meet each Sunday from 11:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m., the Presbyterian Women will meet April 13th as they continue their Bible Study on scriptural lament, and the AARP Tax Aid Team will wrap up their final appointments mid-month. Our Young Adult Group will have a "Pizza and Bible Study" on April 16th via Zoom, the Meals for Moms will be given out on April 21st and 22nd (Enchilada bake), and we will wrap up the month with special music by our newly formed drum group on Sunday, April 25th.
We would love to have you be a part of the fresh, life-giving things God is doing through St. Luke’s!
In God’s Love,
We, the St. Luke’s family of believers, are dedicated to demonstrating our love for God by serving Him in all areas of life.
Our vision is to become a Christ-centered community where:
we learn to love God more,
we lead people to faith in the risen Christ,
we nurture all to a spiritual maturity through the word of God,
we reach out to others through acts of love,
we experience close fellowship together, and
we glorify God’s name through celebrative, joyful worship.
